EPIDERMIST

EPIDERMIST

by Antoinette Barnardo 14 Jan 2020

EPIDERMIST offers the skin an overall perfecting action to achieve good skin health. It is a Marine Exopolysaccharide secreted by a planktonic micro-organism in the Aber Benoît, a coastal river in the Pays de Léon region of Northwest France, Brittany. It is composed of galactose and N-acetyl-glucosamine, which are needed to synthesise glycosaminoglycans (GAGs).

To restore good skin health, EPIDERMIST uses a multi-faceted approach to reboot the skin’s physical and chemical barriers, as well as its hydra memory (the ability to recover optimal hydration levels). It works by optimising cell renewal, reactivating the skin’s natural defenses, inhibiting pro-acne bacteria, and reducing skin sensitivity. To achieve smoother and softer skin, the active also strengthens the skin’s rehydration ability, eliminates dead skin cells, and minimises the appearance of pores.
